An award-winning assisted living facility just announced that Farron Bernhardt will be joining them as CEO. The facility is Manse on Marsh, cited multiple times as “Best Retirement Community” by the local tribune, highly recommended by SeniorAdvisor.com, and winner two years in a row of the Caring Star award by Caring.com. Bernhardt adds even more expertise to the Manse on Marsh team, a longtime development manager and project planner for senior communities, having just served at the Nevada Housing and Neighborhood Development’s assisted living division. Bernhardt is excited to meet the residents and shares the vision that Manse on Marsh founder Chris Skiff had when he founded it 16 years ago.
The Manse on Marsh believes that every part of senior care is important and strives to make every aspect of their residents’ stay as comfortable and hassle-free as possible. As seniors grow older, they might need supervision to make sure they don’t have any accidents or sudden illnesses. Also, senior loved ones will be a part of a community, one that Manse on Marsh considers to be family and won’t have to deal with isolation.
The Manse on Marsh has built housing to meet different resident needs, activity requirements, and from apartments in large complexes, to private homes and cottages for others. The facility offers lots of amenities such as catered meals, room service, cable TV, laundry, housekeeping, and extra assistance if the resident needs help with dressing or grooming needs. There are catered meals and many activities that residents can participate in from exercise and dancing classes, to outdoor hikes and activities, public transportation to downtown shopping or events, and even movie nights. Families are welcome to come visit their loved ones at any time, and Manse on Marsh includes pets as part of families.
