Rocklage graduated in 1981 with degrees in psychology from the University of Southern California. Mrs. Rocklage also excels as a public speaker, teacher, coach, team builder and community outreach counselor. She professionally builds trust in her clientele and continues to pursue her philanthropic endeavors.
From time to time, Patty volunteers for the Sudanese Education Fund. The organization’s objective is to help Southern Sudanese find financial and educational stability after relocating to Massachusetts from their homeland.
Her husband, Dr. Scott Rocklage, as well as herself have contributed to their community by gifting the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s chemistry department with funds to renovate the nano chemistry and technology labs located in the institute’s second building.
MIT gave back to the charitable couple by honoring them with a display plaque located on the newly renovated labs. The building is currently being used by a Lester Wolfe chemistry professor named Moungi Bawendi. Mr. Rocklage was a chemistry graduate from that institution.
